Bealtaine Festival

Commencing on May 01 the Bealtaine Festival heralds the arrival of summer with vibrant Festivities that celebrate life, creativity, and community. Rooted in ancient Irish traditions, this seasonal observance bridges past and present, intertwining ritual, music, and dance. While most prominent in Ireland, echoes of Bealtaine are felt across Scotland, where local customs honor the changing seasons. Participants light bonfires, engage in storytelling, and honor the natural world, fostering a sense of continuity and reverence. Through these collective expressions, Bealtaine becomes both a cultural homage and a celebration of renewal, unity, and human creativity.
